Well, the book that I drew for Scholastic is finally out in stores and online. The title of the book is LEGO City Save This Christmas. The book came out pretty good. I had a lot of fun working on it. I'm hoping I will be on some more projects with Scholastic soon. Only time will tell. I'm going to try and have a few copies at New York Comic Con as well as Rhode Island Comic Con. I will probably only be at New York for Saturday and Sunday this year. Please drop by Artist Alley and say hello. I'll be haning out with my pals, Joe Caramagna, Andrew Edge and Dennis Budd.

But why wait? *I can't promise we'll delight, but it sounds real good! ![]() My wife got me an amazing set of tiny sketchpads as an early birthday gift while she was in Boston. I'm using these pads to flesh out some pages for my web comic Robotic Madness. If you look really hard you can see a penciled page of next weeks Robotic Madness. But my F1.8 on my Nikon is creating a depth of field SO fierce, that you probably can't see much. I look forward to seeing my website visits skyrocket this week! Take care! I've been away from webcomics for too long. It's time that I bring it back and fill it with piles of what you all love. Robots. Yes! You've been asking for almost ten years. Deviant Society and Zennon3 left the web over ten years ago! I can't believe it. Soured by that experience, I stayed away from webcomics. But after pondering my dilemma, con after con, I decided to get back in the game. Get ready for an exciting adventure with your new robotic friend G.A.R.K. and the strange characters he'll meet along the way.
Visit www.jimmycakes.com to read the web comic now. ![]() As Spring draws closer and the weather gets warm, I'm reminded that Free Comic Book Day is closing in! What is free comic book day you ask?? I look forward to seeing fans of all ages at the nation wide event! ![]() If you like digital comics, it's time to act fast and go pick up the whole Mr. Phelps Space Detective mini series for a crazy low price. The latest price is good until this Friday. It's like stealing! If you miss out on this super duper cheap price, it's still worth it to pick up at the regular digital price. Very cheap for a great read. Shawn Granger is a great writer and I had a great time illustrating it. With any luck, Shawn will ask me to work on another Mr. Phelps story. And with even more luck, I may get to draw it at a leisurely pace. Thanks to all who pick it up and thanks to Shawn for hiring me to work on it. Visit the site now! |
