Last night I was working late in the studio making sure I'll hit my deadline for a Scholastic children's book I'm working on. My eyes felt like the were going to explode and I decided I'd cool my brain down by doing some digital doodling. This book cover is what came from my doodle session. Enjoy. You may see this book in the future. Who knows!?

A lot of comic artists bring out the Canson and colored pencils at conventions, creating amazing works of art. A very popular medium for the collectors. But Art Baltazar and Franco started doing crayon sketches YEARS ago. I was actually one of the booth neighbors one year when they first start bringing out the $1 sketches of super heros on notebook paper. Here's a quick sketch I did while I had some access to crayons and construction paper. Fun stuff.
Steampunk Howard the Duck. Man, what an awesome concept. I wish I had the idea myself. Thanks for the tweet idea. Maybe someday we'll see a reboot of howard the duck in the 1800's.
I did this quick, color pencil, sketch the other day. My computer has been down so I do not have access to a scanner, so I had to snap this quick pict with my cell phone. Hopefully I'll have the computer up and running soon so I can get some more work up here and do it more often.
